Training 07/05 | Merlin Helicopter for Ten Tors

Each year before Ten Tors the Search & Rescue Teams on Dartmoor training together with the 846 Squadron Royal Navy on the Merlin helicopter.

Its essential training that team members are familiar with these military aircraft, for occasional operations, as well as during the Ten Tors event.

On Ten Tors the RN Merlins are used for Casualty Evaluation and transporting teams when needed.
