Event 25/05 | Bere Pen 10K

Four members of the team provided First Aid cover for the Bere Pen 10K.
The Bere Pen 10k is a scenic 3 down, 3 up road run around the Bere Peninsular which passes along the beautiful River Tamar, organised by the Bere Alston Trekkers.

Dave and Simon provided communications in 54, Bryony and Phil as Casualty Carers at Bere Alston Primary School, and Julian as a sweep at the back of the pack (along with Batman!).

A well-supported event with nearly 200 runners entered, and the winning time just over 38 minutes. No first aid issues, although lots of verbal support and a place to sit down given to exhausted runners by our Casualty Carers.
