Last night’s training featured the traditional mine pie walk. Where on one Tuesday in December, the team will don their Christmas hats, refill their hip flasks and have a bimble across the moor to locate the Land Rover full of goodies.

Colin S took up this year’s challenge to set the route and be the tour director. We were led on a rather wet and boggy route from Princetown, to meet the Land Rover at the half way point.

Brandy and Mine pies were dished out and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Once the glasses were empty and pies all eaten we headed back to Princetown and to the carry on the festivities at the Prince of Wales.

Typically the weather forecast was heavy rain and gales, but the team was in good spirits. I imagine the brandy helped with that…

From all of the team we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas
