🎄 The holidays have now started and if you think you will be enjoying walks across our countryside to walk off that extra mince pie 🥧 , remember to tell someone where you are going, 🥾 make sure you are aware of what daylight hours you have left (daylight fades around 3.30 pm – 4.00 pm), take a torch 🔦, map and compass, make sure your phone is fully charged and wear appropriate clothing. 📱
Our volunteers are 24/7 on-call even during Christmas and New Year remain ready at moments to notice to leave families & excited children going to the aid of strangers. We could not do this with the support of the same families & children that is why we would say big “Thank You” to all of them.
