This week the Mental Health Foundation is hosting a Mental Health Awareness week. The theme for the week is kindness.
Since 1949 the Mental Health Foundation has been the UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health. Their aim is to find and address the source of mental health problems. It is reported that 1 in six adults meet the criteria for common mental health problems and that suicide is the leading killer of men and women between the ages of 15-35.
During these unprecedented times, kindness is one of the most important singular abilities that will have the potential to help protect our Mental Health. Kindness strengthens relationships, develops communities and deepens solidarity.
