Exciting news as Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Plymouth is about to undergo a major refit of their Control vehicle. The vehicle has now been classed as non-operational and taken off the road until further notice. Luckily we have a second suitable vehicle which can be used as a control centre.
Once all of the kit had been moved across, a concern was that it would be over the legal weight limit. Thankfully after using a local weighbridge we were pleased to discover that we were under the legal payload limit.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Steve and the team at Victoria Wharf for allowing us to use their weighbridge facility, it was greatly appreciated.
