The RV for this week’s Tuesday training was Four winds Carpark. This enchanting place used to be the site of Foggintor School and some say you can still hear the children chanting their sums on the wind.
Our Training Office Darren had concocted a competitive first aid session for the evening. There were four different scenarios and teams were marked on their performance at each one. Bonus medical questions were also thrown in for extra points.
The scenarios consisted off a cardiac arrest, traumatic fall, heat stroke and a head injury. Teams had to replicate how they would respond and treat each one, with a prize being given to the winning team.
Thank you to Darren for organising a valuable and enjoyable evening.
We remain operational at this difficult, responding to assist Devon & Cornwall Police in searching for vulnerable missing people.
