This week’s Tuesday training was in the hands of George B., who had organised a Search and Rescue (SAR) Exercise starting from Cadover Bridge.
Three hill party teams were given the brief to locate and treat two casualties. After collecting the relevant kit and PPE required, the teams set off to search the areas they had been given.
After thoroughly searching the areas, the first casualty was located by one of the teams. Not much later, the second casualty was found.
The second casualty was carry off on the stretcher so all three teams work on rolling stretcher technic.
After everyone was back at the RV, a debrief was conducted in which everyone felt that the evening had been a resounding success. Thank you to our George for a great training evening.
