This week’s Tuesday’s training was our overdue AGM. They should be held in April every year, but it was postponed because of the current pandemic. However, our COVID policy and the numbers attending we had to meet outside, so everyone rocked up at Clearbrook with their camping chairs and a flask of tea. The weather matched the forecast given for a change, and we were subjected to a rather glorious evening, although it was somewhat chilly once the sun started to set.
It was an interesting and informative meeting and a good chance to discuss any issues over the past year. It was also the moment to celebrate Richard’s 50 years with our team. Richard received the MREW Longe Service Award and Lifetime Membership of Dartmoor Rescue Group.
