The team were called at 10.55 to assist Devon and Cornwall Police with the search for the high risk missing person from the previous day.

Twenty one team members assembled at Cadover Bridge, alongside 11 team members from Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Tavistock, and a Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England Dog Team. Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response joined us again, and provided much needed transport for the teams as they searched the various areas.

The teams carried out extensive searches of the area south west of Cadover Bridge along the River Plym towards the Dewerstone and Shaugh Bridge. The areas included open moorland, climbing crags, river banks and steep sloping wooded areas.

The police stood the teams down at 16.18, suspending the search with a view to return the following day.
