Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Plymouth were callout to assist Devon and Cornwall Police in the search for a missing person. 

Thirty three members of the team assembled near Bircham Valley Nature Reserve to await tasking. Four foot teams and one dog team were allocated their search areas and deployed to commence searching. 

At 20:00 the decision was made by to cease the search due to the lack of daylight and tough terrain.

In Attendance:

  • Devon & Cornwall Police
  • Total duration: 3hrs 45mins
  • Total Volunteer hours: 130hrs 0mins
