Full team callout by the Devon & Cornwall Police to assist SWAST Ambulance with a “with a casualty on the moor”.

Unfortunately the initial What 3 Words location given by SWAST was incorrect and the team had to relocate to a new RV. After discussion with the paramedics on the ground it was established that this was a group of teenagers camping on the moor near Piles Copse.

One of the teenagers had drunk too much alcohol and was initially unresponsive. 3 of the group were back at the RV. The team Land Rover was dispatched up the track to meet up with the police and paramedic on scene. The remainder of the group of teenagers were then transported back to the RV.

After being checked over by the paramedics, the teenager was discharged into the care of his parents. No doubt with a very sore head in the morning!

Team stood down at 05:00 ready to go back to work.
