Team callout by Devon & Cornwall Police to locate three horse riders and horses that requiring assistance near Caters Beam after experiencing difficulties in boggy ground.

Ten members of our members made the journey down to the RV Peat Cott.

A team of seven members set off to locate and assist the horse riders. At this time, we were in contact with a member of our sister team from Tavistock. With the help of this member, the party was soon located. Horses and riders found tired and needing guidance on a safe route off the moor. #SoMuchMoreThanMountains

After a health and safety check of riders and horses by the team leader, the team started the journey back to the safety of the horse trailers.
