Incident 01. | 11/02/22 18.00 At 18.00 Devon & Cornwall Police requested our help in searching for a missing male who was deemed to be at high risk. 18 team members attended along with Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock, and Urban Search & Rescue.
Extensive searches were carried out in dense woodland and the area surrounding Bickleigh Barracks. Active search deployments were suspended at around 01.00.
Incident 02. | 12/02/22 08.45 16 members arrived and the search was resumed at 08.45 for day two, joined again by members of DSRT Tavistock, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Ashburton and later by East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team.
Multiple searches were carried out over a more extensive area, but unfortunately the male was not found. All searches were suspended at 18.15.
We have since been informed that the missing male has been located safe and well.
